Photos Won't Import From Iphone
I can't sync the photos on my iPhone to iPhoto (using USB cable) due to the following error:'Photos on the camera roll <phone name> cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode.'
I've disabled my passcode lock but the iPhoto persists with this error. I'm running MacOS 10.6.8.
I've googled the error without result.
This is the second time in 8 months of ownership that the phone has choked on iPhoto. The first time was a different error, only resolved by erasing and re-setting the phone. This is highly problematic for me because I visit many different secured wifi hotspots and re-entering all the passwords is time-consuming.
These issues render the iPhone camera nearly useless because the only other option is to email photos to yourself. There is no other way to get photos out of the phone on the Mac.
Is there a solution out there that doesn't entail blowing out the phone? (iCloud is not an option.)
